I'm a discriminating luddite. I embrace technology when I'm motivated. Got my first microwave only 5 years ago, and I'm now a confirmed believer, because I use it daily -- to warm up the dogs' food! Still haven't found much other use for it.
But yeah, as for the music meme, the hard drive is, indeed, virgin territory. But I've got a pretty big library of jazz CDs, and when I'm on the computer, I'm a Rhapsody addict. With the wireless router, I can use it in any room in the house with my laptop -- just plug it into a couple of mini-speakers and it's good to go. With a service like that, who needs to mess around with hard drives.
