Re: Qualifications for Majority Leader
by
stygius
Bob Novak did one of his hit pieces on Frist last year, mocking his legislative lack of skills. I'm not ashamed to say I derived great pleasure from reading it. After reading Caro's Master of the Senate, I've developed a greater interest in the Senate's internal stuff, and something of an affection for the institution.
Frist was an idiot to accept the Majority Leader position. There's no way he can satisfy the every GOP factions expectations and come out smelling good enough in the end to make it past the New Hampshire primary. It's a pleasure watching Reid work.
Perhaps we should begin speaking of Bill Frist as the "potential vice presidential candidate."
