Breakfast cereal as cultural icon? Heh, I was just guessing that anyone who grew up any earlier than the mid to late '60s wouldn't have seen all these Count Chocula cereal commercials that seemed to play on every kids' show (in the '80s, in my case). But maybe it's from earlier than that.
