I think your post shows the problem with people who want a "reality based" approach to current events: no on can plausibly claim to KNOW what reality is. I agree that clarity will be a long time coming on the Iraq invasion, and many of us will be long dead before it arrives. The early history of our country shows this well: friends falling out as much over their description of what was true than as to what to do about it, and what would Jefferson, Adams, Madison and Hamilton thought in 1860?
