Stop and rest awhile as the caravan moves on

Prak, you lost your copy of the script -- the one that's got the stage manager's directions marked on it. You're confusing facts and perceptions again and how you mannage both if you're a nominee for a cabinet office. This is the drill, regardless of degree of controversy, regardless of party, regardless of who's in the WH. That's one of those situations where it's not what SHE says or how SHE answers the questions. Someone else controls the frame. And a nominee doesn't give anyone the chance to do that -- and especially not to validate the attention folks pay the frame by the fact it's a highprofile interview -- before they're confirmed. You'll find that's the a cardinal rule for all nominees. They don't talk to anyone but the Senators until it's over. They use their buddies and staff to tell the press what they think and what their testimony is going to say.
