I keep hearing various reports of the dissatisfaction with the current Iranian rule, but it would be great to get a clear-eyed and sober evaluation of the possibilities of change in the Iranian regime, both short-term and long-term. What is the relationship of the miliary leaders to the clerical leaders? The relationship of the civilian leaders, to the clerical leaders? Where are the opportunities for reform/change going to come from?
