I actually have the Macgregor book you linked to -- I'm pretty sure that he's the guy who gets credit for coming up with the whole "revolution in military affairs" idea of light, high-tech precision munitions manuever warfare forces as the future that US military strategy should be pursuing... or at least he's a major proponent for it. With one thing or another I've never had time to start it yet but I'm pretty sure I got the book off a Phil Carter recommendation.. Phil, unfortunately, doesn't have an easy search function on his site that I can find so I can't track that down just yet. I'll try and catch the Frontline piece tomorrow and see what they've got to say. I saw another piece of theirs (think it was just called "The Invasion of Iraq", as I recall) with White a while ago -- he is not a happy guy.. you might even say he's become a little shrill.
