World-famous public intellectual, meet the Medium Lobster.
[UPDATE] Of course, it could all be some kind of elaborate hoax-within-a-hoax.
[UPDATE 2] Or a parody of a hoax, or is that a hoax of a parody? (HT commenter todd miller @ Crooked Timber)

It's definitely time to revive the Medium Lobster fanclub for all his groupies like me.
The ultimate indicator of the ridiculous degree of right-tilt of the Wizbang Blog Awards nominee lists is not that NRO is a nominee in virtually every major category, but that nowhere do we find Fafblog. (BTW - the lists are so numerous that I may have overlooked a Fafblog entry, so if so, please let me know.) Although to be fair, it's a bit difficult to decide where Fafblog belongs among nominee lists since it is truly hors categorie. Re: Welcome to the Blogosphere

Is it just me, or is right-wing comedy remarkably unfunny?
What would you call right-wing humor?

What blogs would you point to. Movies? TV shows? What about comedians? Unless you call Don Rickles right-wing. Even the sort of Jay Leno type bland balloon puncturing is pretty much equal opportunity.
I mean, even Bird Dog thinks Fafblog is funny. Re: What would you call right-wing humor?
