The Bushies always remind me of Cousin Claude, a major political thinker.Hat tip Matthew Good.
Claude says: "Hell, yiss, I believe in the right to dissent. H'it's in the Constitution! What I can't stand is all this criticism. Criticize, criticize, criticize. Why don't they leave poor Dubya alone and let him fight his war in peace?

Others say the purge is of those who haven't obeyed their security oaths and have leaked classified information for political gain.
YMMV, but there are obviously rather different takes on this. But I agree with Molly that there are a lot of hacks who need to go given the low quality intel the CIA has been producing. As we assemble at Kurukshetra resolved upon war, many on the left are finding their friends are on the other side. This is not just their problem, Muslims are experiencing it and even right wing loons like me are experiencing it. But as Krishna reminds us, we have to fight none the less..... Question: is moral dualism compatible with modern liberalism? I think so, but there seem to dissenting views on the left. Trackbacks
